I am so happy you made this video. I had horrible side effects and tried Ozempic 3 separate times. Each time they side effects got worse! Until I did my research and found if you are on any type of HRT Ozempic may not be for you! Infact if you are on Ozempic plus any type of HRT your metabolism can shut down - which is what happened to me. I gained 7 lbs in 5 weeks.
Wow, haven't heard that. Frankly, they do a good job making sure only the pros are advertised publicly.
@@MitchCalvert I believe this is true - Good reviews get pushed out to the public while the truth ( the horror ) of this medication get no views! Ozempic is no miracle - I truly believe 5 yrs from now all we will hear are horror stories. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is ...
It’s also good to look up / talk to your doctor about signs of allergic reactions with any med. I had a med I was on that had a quick reaction that would go from a rash and lead to death, we stopped that med. It doesn’t need to be said “if you have concerns talk to your doctor”
Everything has a side effect.
Sometimes the side effects are worth the trade offs. Just depends on the circumstance. Obesity for decades = more serious side effects.

He found three whole comments re insomnia. Out of how many comments? Come on now. All meds have side effects for some. An obese, type II diabetic has bigger fish to fry (bake 😉).
Stop taking this. You'll destroy your organs. These drugs keep your cells from taking up glucose. You will destroy your pancreas, kidneys, liver. You will become a diabetic. Move more, eat less, eat healthy. Its easy to be healthy.
Anyone taking medications is playing with fire. Yes that includes medications for health conditions. Change yiur lifestyle
And you get thyroid cancer!! Plus you can mimic the activation of GLP 1 with real whole foods!!
I’m 300# and since my blood sugar is fine my insurance says no. My insurance also says no to medical weight loss clinics. My union insurance company once did cover such things but since Obama they no longer have too. Weight is not a health risk where the new health insurance rules are concerned.
Find out if your health insurance will supplement your gym membership. Also ask your primary to refer you to physical therapy for targeted weight loss exercises. Believe me, you DON'T want the quick fix Rx's like these, they cause more problems than they solve. ps - I used to weigh over 400lbs. Diet and exercise work.
No issue for my husband. His weight and a1c is down.

@@sarahsilva3481 yes! It took about 6 months of stepping up dosage but at around the 6 month mark he started dropping the weight because he was less hungry. He also lost his taste for beer, but not vodka haha

My husband’s A1c went down From 9.7 to 6.4 in 6 months and has lost 22 lbs. but it hasn’t been smooth sailing not a fun ride
Trade offs for sure, but probably worth it with that high an A1C and the risk factors of eventual Type 2 diabetes.
So crazy because you could lose 22 pounds easily without taking drugs and I’ve had my clients A1c numbers drop dramatically without drugs. I just hate this drug and what it’s doing to this industry. Horrible!
My a1c was 10.9 went down to 9 ....taking glipizide and metformin.....my dr won't take me off metformin I want to try ozempic but dr says none of his patients can get it because it's on back order.
A type 1 diabetic friend of mine who is around 73 ended up in hospital for 4 days from Ozempic. He had several issues with his inner organs. Just be careful using these meds.
Isn’t Ozempic used for diabetes type II?
Works very well for my DMII. A1C down a full point lower than the oral drugs (6.5 down to 5.5 and holding). It has a similar panel of side effects to what my friends that have had gastric bypass experience (minus the iron absorption hinderance) but it did not require surgery and I can stop it if i need to (a possibility for some procedures/surgeries, etc.). I also do not have the issue I had with metformin (Januvia did work pretty well for me as an alternative to metformin) Just like the gastric bypass, you don't have carte blanc to eat anything and everything and just let the drug do the work. You DO have to avoid excessive fat, and excessive food consumption generally. It DID nearly eliminate the "food noise" that was constantly droning in my head to eat. So much so I forget to eat cause I'm not hungry .... YMMV and I would not suggest it just for weight loss (50lbs so far, but it's a good side effect of the A1C reduction) but for DMII sufferers, it is an important new and effective tool. No insomnia here, btw.

Yup but I can't get it because people that don't have it are taking it. There for its always on back order. My a1c Is 10.9 has gone down. To 9 with eating better . I would love to try ozempic. I see some people are ok on it.

Any normal person can lose weight by eating only meat and eggs. Anybody who does Ozempic before the carnivore diet should have their head examined.

Nice. I somehow landed on these three things through my own research and a bit of intuition, but it took a few years. I wasted time with fad bs like omad, IF, prolonged fasting, keto until I changed gears and focused on lifting and meeting protein goals on a slight deficit. Then everything started to come together. Now my shoulders are finally wider than my waist haha..
That's how I figured them out too LOL (trial and error)

Agreed. I mentioned that. But supplements can "supplement" the fundamentals. You can do everything right but aging has an impact in certain areas. My hormonal and joint health benefit significantly from these small additions.

Im of a similar age and have had great results with glucosamine in particularly from horbaach available on amazon, they do a couple of different types with other goodies included
I would drop to 1mg of boron. You can also get in in a trace element multi at 1mg. 300mg of Magnesium citrate is a good dose. do 1/3 in the morning and 2/3rds at night. I like Magnesium Glycinate with NAC instead though. Creatine is a great idea life long. I do 5g in the morning. I don't mess with the curcumin/tumeric. Not sure if the studies are conclusive on it. I think it is a meme supplement.
Good list. But I disagree big-time on curcumin (assuming you're using a highly bioavailable version). Dr. Peter Attia just had it in his top supplement list. Cancer risk reduction, joint and brain health etc. examine.com/supplements/curcumin/ Why such a low dose of boron that won't measureably impact free T?
Turmeric is part of curcumin which is a natural 5ar inhibitor so it's not good for men

Depends. The health ones (in capsules) are available at iherb, Costco or Amazon, just shop around. I use Revolution Nutrition or Popeye's (in Canada) for powders (creatine, whey protein etc)
